Engine Short block

The pistons are installed in the block. I installed an Eagle Rotating Assembly. The pistons are new Hypereutectic Flat top (.040 over) with Eagle connecting rods.

The short block assembly was very straight forward.

The camshaft (Comp Cams xe262) and timing gear are next on the installation plan.

A 1976 Chevy 350 with a .040 overbore. A total of 357 Cubic Inches. A stock crankshaft turned .010/.010. Stock connecting rods. New flat top Pistons. I am planning on getting the crankshaft and pistons installed before I order the cylinderheads. I am shooting for a Compression Ration (CR) of 9.1-9.3. I would like to use World Products Torquer Iron Heads. The cam will be a Comp Cams XE262.

The blocked was decked so I want to check how deep the pistons are in the block.
